About the D2 Architecture Studio
D2A is an architecture studio established by architect Deepak.G.Meethal at Calicut in 2016. The foundation stones were laid back in 1982 by his father, renowned artist and interior designer Mr Divakaran named INDFA designs at West Kallai, Calicut ,which has steadily grown into a multidisciplinary practice emphasizing the values of innovation and sustainability. In 2016, D2A studio emerged as an amalgamation of architecture, urban designing and planning encompassing a sensitive understanding of the context, site and needs of the clients. The design evolution is firmly rooted in traditional interpretations, while incorporating the elements in a contemporary context. The innovative and regionalist architectural influences in the designs constantly explores new dimensions in architecture. There is an intrinsic visual equity in the design approach, with adaptable openness and spectacular spacial connectivity rendering it relevant and timeless. READ MORE
